 In the autumn of this year well have in showrooms the new Audi A1, a city - model with is somehow unexpected from a brand that produces and sells mostly powerful cars. The lowest model produced by Audi is the A2, which is not quite a beautiful car, as some may say, yet is has been practical in the city and very economical due to low fuel consumption.

The new Audi A1 will be in the same auto class as the Chevrolet Spark, which is one of the cheapest and most sold cars in Europe at this time, the Peugeout 107 and Citroen C1. The car should be appealing for a new category of customers, the ones that prefere a small car for the cities, but would still like to keep on driving their prefered brand, so that on later stages they can move on to a bigger and more expensive model, as Peter Schwarzenbauer, the marketing direct of Audi suggested.

Audi A1 will borrow lots of design elements from its elder brothers, but will allow to customers to enjoy some new features, not released in any of the current Audi models. As expected, the Audi A1 will be a low fuel consumption car, easy to park, with Start&Stop system on and some other navigation info and entertainement tools in the default model.

Nissan going for some cheap models in US

 Nissan seems to plan for the future not so very far away, the launch of two models, very cheap for the U.S. market. Yet, they will also have to facilitate financial benefits, including deal with some banks or dealerships. This is possibly one of the reasons they are showcasing the new Nissan models right in the Detroit showroom.

These cars will share the platform with the next Nissan Micra V and will be assembled at a factory in Mexico. The same plant will have developed a third model to be sold on markets in South America. Until then, the european seem to find Nissan models quite low cost and sustainable, car parts speaking.
